    Hey guys,

Before making the purchase on this Camburg UCA ball joing set, I wanted to get some feedback on the squeakiness.

First off, I don't do any off-roading and love the look/color of this UCA, and getting the correct alignment when i go a tad bit higher would be perfect.

I know this is using the stock ball joint, but I figured for $375, its better then me spending $600 for TC or something like that. Keep in mind I really want the silver finish!

Anyone here run these UCA's and have any problems with it making noise over time. I have searched and read that people with the UNIBALL arms tend to have squeek issues over time and that the ball joint option is better for noise purposes.

Can anyone here chime in before i place my order? Thanks in advance!

I have them and the dude I bought them from fabbed up some covers.......that being said when they get dry they still squeak! That's just a reminder to lube them, lol! Once I put them on the truck rode smooth as hell and takes corners on rails!

I have LR too. No complaints right now. Under 400 with a GB going on now I think. As mentioned they are black and not aesthetically pleasing. I loved the look of the Camburgs and TC but couldn't justify the huge price jump for my uses just for the look.

If you really don't plan on offroading at all then the camburg with ball joints will be OK. BUT! your truck will ride a bit smoother with uniballs.

Thanks for the responses guys. Yeah i never go off roading.. and would definitely go with LR, but for me the silver finish (or anything other then black) seals the deal for me. I know there might be some hate for my reasoning, but I just always loved how camburg/tc looks!

With those with the camburg ball joints, how often do you lube them?

I know with my camburg unibals, I grease the zeros about every year. No problems so far. I just keep.pumping till the bad black grease is gone and new red grease comes out and then I clean. Its that simple. :)

They have zerk fitting that a basic grease gun fits......it's real easy. You can google it for some pics/videos!

And for the record, you can wheel your balls off with these! They were designed with the ball repositioned to allow for extra travel without binding and are stronger than stock by far.....just not as strong as the uniballs! I'd worry about the spindle before the UCA's!

There are grease zerks or fittings on each side of the arm where the bolt goes through that holds them on. They also grease the ball joint.

If you want you could refinish the light racing ucas sliver :D
I have had my camburg ucas on for a week, no squeaking yet.

You don't grease the ball joints. They're maintenance free.

I have the camburg UCA and they do squeak. It squeaks over all the little road bumps and lane dots. It's pretty annoying but I can't find a way to get rid of it. Tried lubing the uniball and greasing the zerks, but the only thing that seems to make it go away is rain. They're silent when it rains, but as soon as it dries out, the squeak comes back.

Mine have a custom made cover with a zerk fitting for greasing....I'd advice greasing them somehow, they do dry out!

Here's a pic of the cover with the zerk fitting!

Are those ball joint or uni-ball arms?
