Hello, I'm new to the forum and am in desperate need of help. I am in the process of changing my pads and rotors. I have tried using a breaker bar, pb, impact, freeze off and heat. Nothing seems to work, when I used the breaker bar I felt it move but only in a way that felt like the bolt might snap.. Any thoughts? I need to have my truck back together by Monday and don't want to have to replace the bracket if I can avoid it..

    Thanks in advance,
Looking forward to hearing your ideas..

What year, inside or outside and/or what bolt? There are some you do not touch. Pic's are helpful.

KdF, thank you for responding so quickly. Now that you mention it some information would be helpful. I have an 03 Tacoma with the 3.4 engine and 4x4 manual transmission. I already did the passanger side so I believe I am removing the correct bolts but here are some pics to show the problem bolt which I am pointing at with a screwdriver..

    Thanks again for your input

    ...we'll get there.
How long have you been at it? Keep hitting it with pb. Don't force it. That's a one way ticket to snapsville.

I agree. Pb impact. Pb impact. That's how I eventually got the stuck castle nut on my tie rods. Impact gives a good shock without the sustained torque of the breaker. You can also try tightening then loosening with the impact. Go back and forth

Are you heating the bolt itself? I try to heat the material the bolt is threaded into but not the bolt itself in hopes it will expand a little.
