I will be looking to go from an A/T to M/T. I have been looking at a few different options, but I know there's more out there I might want to consider. I will be going with a 285/70/17 size. In no particular order. Any pictures or experiences greatly appreciated.

Large tire? It's barely a 33". I have Bilstein 6112 in the front and 5160's in the rear with AAL. About 2.5" all around

Possibly some trimming to some of the plastics, but there have been people who have fit 35" with the stock bumpers.

STT Pro have been great so far. Granted, I’ve only had them on the truck for a couple weeks.

Have you considered a more aggressive AT? MTs look cool but unless you spend more than half your time offroad you are just throwing away money.

I run two sets personally but not everyone can afford two sets of tires. An AT should serve you fine on everything up to a dedicated trail.

I digress, I didn’t vote since I don’t run any of those tires nor recommend them.

They’re all 3 great options. I’ve heard great things about the new yoko’s but also with the KM3s. Myself, I would probably go with the yokos. But I’m currently running dick cepek trail country exp’s. They’re a hybrid tire and have done great in every situation I’ve been in thus far. I’ll probably switch to an M/T when these wear out though.

Thanks for the reply. I've thought about that route as well. I've been running BFG K02 for about 20K miles now and haven't had any issues. I guess if it aint broke don't fix it, but also like the aggressiveness of the MT

The Yokohama Geolandar looks amazing and my buddy just put them on his truck. Haven't had a chance to test them out off road yet. And they actually ride a bit quieter than his old M/T's but that might change in about 10K miles. I personally rock the Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx which is a decently aggressive AT tire that has done me great off road and on road.
