This. A well equipped SR5 4x4 double cab sounds like it would fit your needs.

yup, skip the off road bs, the suspension is really no better, its still got the same ride height and travel, doesn't sound like you will ever need the e locker, just 4x4 for when you need it and go! there's enough threads on this site where ppl got the 2wd thinking it was all they would ever need then next thing the hit a trail and realize the truck isn't getting very far without 4x4 and are shopping for a new truck again... and if you wanna hit the hills you might as well be able to do it safely. good luck!!

I don't see why spend the money on sr5 when u get better seats and touch screen w/nav on the sport and OR a much better interior overall for similar price since they keep towing tss packages on them and charge same price as the sport! I was set on limited till I saw the OR It looks much nicer in person and I wasn't too impressed with the leather quality! If I buy a 4X2 I ll go for the sport but I'm getting a 4x4 since my plans for it is at least 30 years of service I wanted to get the crawl control that since they keep talking about it even though I might never use it. I don't like the plastic fender fares but little color matching paint will fix that!

I opted for the sport because most of my driving will be on road and I like the looks of it. 4x4 really came in handy last winter with single digit temps and snow storms that covered the roads when they couldn't salt. Everyone was out getting stuck and I drove 60 miles to hit the slopes no problem. I also like the look of the sport over the off road. I don't need the locker and I doubt I'll ever use the off road features. See them, drive them, research what each trim level offers then decide which would best suit your specific needs
