I just bought a used iPhone 6 plus from a guy on craiglist. My original concern was that it was damaged in some way since assistive touch was on. After trying to restore it I noticed that it displayed the little green android logo. It shows a little red jellybean when I try to plug it into my macbook. iTunes doesn't recognize it as an iPhone. I don't know what to do. Can I get whatever this crap is off the phone?

Anyway you can send some screen caps? Does it show the apple logo when you boot up after a restart?

If your iPhone is not responsive and iTunes does not detect it you must put your phone in DFU mode. While it is connected, simply hold down the home and power button together for about 10 seconds, then release the power button while continuing to hold the home button. A few seconds later iTunes should detect your iPhone...let me know if this works?

Thanks for the help guys. It was actually a fake iPhone. the IMEI didn't match in settings and back of phone. Looked it up and it belonged to a Galaxy S4. After watching a youtube video on fake 6 pluses I finally figured it out.

But heres the kicker. I called the guy very pissed off. Not only did he apologize he met me and gave me money back. There really are decent people out there.
