I posted this over in the Roof top tent BS thread but figured i'd post it here aswell for any feedback.

I'm trying to decide between a couple of different tents and looking for any input from people who have them. Looking for a 2 person + dog sized tent. The one's i have on my radar are the Yakima Skyrise Medium, CVT Mt Shasta Standard Stargazer pioneer, the Tepui explorer series kukenam 3 and i've now added the GoFSR High country Series 55".

I'm looking for a 3 season tent, something that's good in the rain as i'm in the PNW, easily locked/secured to a rack, and that can mount nicely to a BAMF low profile roof top tent rack.

Pro's and con's (as far as i can tell)
    Yakima
    + Price
    + Good Canadian dealer support
    + Easily lockable to rack
    + Weight

    - Rainfly come's down pretty low in front of the door ruining the view (first world problems i know)
    - Not 100% sure of how the clamps would fit around larger diameter tubing

    CVT
    +Better Fabric and thicker mattress
+Nicer front door opening (i think?)

    -Weight
-Border shipment (shipments across border always cost an arm and leg)

    Tepui
+Seems to be the "standard" in good quality tents
    +Nicer collapsible ladder
    +Canadian availability

    -Price
    -Available colours

    GoFSR
    -Build quality
    -Fabric

    -Price
    -Canadian availability or border shipment

Please let me know if any of my perceived pluses/cons are misguided, any input would be greatly appreciated!

I have the gofsr high country and we fit 2 +2 dogs ( one big and one small).

I find it pretty easy to put on and take off my roof rack. Highly recommended.
