Most likely a ground as you suggest. Is it possible to have the front crank tone ring off? I'd imagine it goes onto a keyway? Could be off and not have synch between the front crank sensor and cam sensors, but that should throw a DTC when scanned.. I havnt seen this motor apart yet but soon when I do my heads.

Is it possible the crank tone ring is installed backwards or forgotten? -Bishop84

Hello, you had me worried about this piece. I checked it with a digital inspection camera through the crankshaft sensor hole in the front cover before doing research and discovering that it wouldn't be possible to install this backwards. Thanks for the idea though, it is definitely along the lines of something I would have done.

I am going to proceed with probing the ECU like DM93 has recommended. I currently have not reinstalled the AC-Compressor-Bracket-Serpentine belt system. Would not having the Alternator spinning cause any problems with the startup process? I did have it connected previously but was concerned about crankshaft signal things.

Tacologist, I am starting to think that I should have let someone else do it. I would really like to have this vehicle up and running as the logistics of people driving around for work can be a little bit more interesting with an extra vehicle out of the mix.

Thank you all, I will report back with findings.

TTHE TRUCK RUNS. 2 Connectors were unplugged in the ECU from previous troubleshooting. Plugged in and everything seems to work. Not sure what the actual fix was at this point, but just happy to have it running. Thank you all for all your assistance.
