    I have the same problem with my 2012 Tacoma using my iPhone 4S and playing podcasts. The dealership has no idea what this is. Wish we could figure this out and get it fixed!

    I am having the same frustrating issue with my 2012 tacoma and my ipod. it just never seems to work anymore, and the more frustrating part is that I did a weekend trip with my friend in his 2017 tacoma and the thing didn't have any issues the whole weekend! I've tried restarting it, unplugging it, switching cables, etc... and it still always ends up giving me an error 5 at some point.
