    yes. Even if there's depreciation.

typically Agreed Value cars are Classic Cars or antiques. so the value may change according to the "market" but I believe it's up to the insured to make sure your value is accurate.

Pretty much covered it. I take it a bit further by making an accurate inventory of everything in and on the truck. We agreed upon a total replacement value and using the inventory if there is a break in and the contents are stolen I have coverage.

Since you're so informed on this type of stuff, any way you could give me a ballpark on the price of full coverage for me? At 18 years old with a 2014 Tacoma and a 2013 Scion TC.
Through AAA I have a 30% discount since I had a 3.0 GPA+ in high school and I took the AAA safe driver online course. My insurance is $300 a month for both vehicles, full coverage with no accidents on record!
If you think it will be more money than that I probably won't even bother calling:anonymous:

I tried to get one of those for my motorcycle as all I want is theft coverage but I wasn't willing to pay for an insurance policy without any way of knowing what they'd give me if it was stolen. They refused to tell me their methodology and just suggested I look at KBB. How am I supposed to know if the premium is reasonable if they won't tell me how much they'd cover if it was stolen.

Back on topic: my insurance through USAA has a standard $5000 in additional coverage for accessories, which you can increase should you choose to do so. You just need to keep records and I'd suggest pictures of the mods done to your truck that you'd want covered in case of theft or a totaled vehicle.

Geico sucks. it's cheap. But it sucks. Co worker of mine used to work for them, they had policies in place that are more focused on trying to up-sale coverage and additional lines of insurance as opposed to trying to accurately assess what your needs are. plus they also only pay out 80% of value on their auto policies for a total loss situation.

with that being said, if you're not really worried about the claims part of it or calling into a call center atmosphere to get any changes made on your policy. then go for it. but as many other have said on this site, you get what you pay for. sometimes people are ok with that if it means cheap premiums.
