2017 v6 auto. Friends motor blew up and she went under the knife. There's one last connector that has no pair. It's on the passenger side under the air box ish. It's a black connector and sits right next to a grey connector which threads down to the abs/speed sensor on the hub. Pic is on this imgur link but I also uploaded here if imgur link doesn't work for yall. You can see it's grey one on the engine (02) some space then a black one (looks greyish under my light) next to the grey abs one and then the AC line. The connector goes into the wire loom so no clues there.

    Any help? Thanks.

Vandalism. Could never figure out what was put in the gas but it smelled funky when tank was dropped. Also tons of organic matter on top of the Piston, intake, etc. Torque converter was pain to get to since the motor was seized badly. Lots of marvel mystery oil, wd40 and two hammers (rip hammers).

    It was pretty bad.

See if you can find a part number on the connector and do a cross reference? It should be stamped on there somewhere. 90980-xxxxx

    I found the connector number 90980– 11926

It didn't have the 90980 prefix it just had the 11926. I did some quick googling and only found a pdf describ8ng the type of connector (male type) but no other clues. At minimum I know it's an oem plug but that not saying much.

Oh yeah it's wicked. Had to tear down the whole motor. I'll get some good pics of the pistons, block, etc and link them later when I have time.... it was a pretty ugly scene.

Are you buying a lock gas cap OP? I have considered buying one for my truck to prevent any retard doing any harm to the truck, but not sure what would be the best brand to buy. :notsure:

Thanks for the help. Like really appreciate it.

Not map sensor. Not mobile. It has its own bracket it shares with the speed sensor. So it's clipped into place and a,dangling wire should connector to it but I've looked everywhere and nothing. It is a pretty fat connector and only enough only has one pin in the plastic hpusing. The only other one pin connector I saw was the power steering pump sensor and that had it's own ground separate fr9m the connector.

More pics,as a rough location reference

Look up lock picking lawyer on YouTube. Locks work but at best they are a deterrent. Any lock can be picked or bypassed ... It's just the effort. Im super paranoid myself after watching him destroy expensive locks in minutes with a simple lock pick kit that retails for 15$

Ahhhhh my dyslexia strikes again. It's actually 90980– 11962 and not 26 (last two switched around) .... More pics of connector location, number stamped and some of the melted piston. I have no other tacoma to reference unfortunately or I would have
