help! flare nut on brake lines.. whats wronge?

    The flaren ot on the bottom of the front brake line will unscrew half way, then you turn it one more and it popes up...then back down, so I can't screw the flare nut out, but I can still tighten it back up.

    Are you using flare nut wrenches? I'm not sure I understand what you are talking about.

    Common issue...flare nuts were overtorqued from factory...basically need to be replaced...sucks...

    Yes I was using a flare wrench, it unscrewws half way but won't unscrew anymore, can I use the rubber hose on one side and ss on the other?
