Hey everyone. I new here. I recently bought a 2022 Taco SR5. I have installed fog lights on my truck. however i can get them to work. I followed Nitori's install for them. I have the pre-wire method. I changed out the headlight stack swap. Everything is connected correctly. However i cannot get the lights to come on. Any help would be appreciated.

My SR was pre-wired and I swapped out the stalk switch. Mine will only work when the parking or headlights are on. If all lights are off or just using the DRL, the fog lights won't work. Not saying you didn't try that but it took me a minute to figure that out. Hoping that's the issue.

Today, I also changed out the stalk on my 2017 SR5. The fog lights only work if the parking or headlights are on (it took me awhile to figure that out). No DRL lights when the stalk is in the DRL position.

So the fog lights are working like mine do but your DRL isn't working. Assuming the DRL's were working before you swapped out the stalk switch, I'm wondering if when you connected the new stalk switch if you messed up the wiring connection of the wires that control the DRL. Maybe take a look at that and check the connection. Possibly pulled on a wire a little too much and the connection is bad.

Thanks for the suggestions. I can check the connections. I'm leaning towards - maybe that the new stalk thinks that I have the LED DRLs rather than the orange bulb DRLs (different wire to headlight combination?). I have been unable to find the DRL wiring diagram. As for the fog lights only working with the headlights on, is not what I want, although apparently that is what Toyota wants. There are some YouTube videos, hacking the relay and connecting it to a switch, but after all the work installing the stalk that is going back to what I previously had.
