Hey guys I have some devil horns that are about 2 years old now and the material is turning a weird beige color. Anyone got any ideas what it could be AND(more importantly) how to treat it?

It's two years old so I guess it's made of the original aluminum

Take it to an anodizing shop

You could try to re polish it and then spray lacquer it

If the horns were anodized red, you can sand and paint them any color you want. If you want polished, sand the previous anodizing off, use finer and finer grades of sand paper then do as AZ-T said, polish and clear lacquer. Mine was originally anodized red and my wife didn't like the color so I sanded, polished and clear coated mine and it still looks great.

Looks like it was chromed and the chrome is flaking off. You should have it re plated.

yah, just take and polish it in steps, it will clean it right up, and than you can either have a polished look, which will look like chrome, but will eventually rust if not painted over, or take it to a chroming shop and have them re plate it

no reason to keep bumping, everyone has already replied that it just needs to be refinished, its a small metal item, that is beginning to erode its typical, not much you can do other than like stated resurface/finish/polish the item

its not going to cost a fortune
