I'm having a hard time greasing the rear end of the front drive shaft on a 2018 Tacoma. I don't think it's clogged because there is no pressure in the grease gun, it's just coming out around the side.

I think I'm having trouble getting a good deal with the grease gun I have. When I greased the front, I had no issue. I'm using a lock n lube. I took apart the assembly and the seals in the lock n lube all look fine

Before I go buying another grease gun attachment, is there anything I should know? Am I just overlooking something?

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
If it is working properly on your other zerks, it may be plugged. Never done it, but some say a bit of heat on it can help free a plugged zerk.

Or your gun is not getting a snug fit on that zerk, or the zerk itself on the u-joint may be loose. That back one on the front shaft is a tight spot.

My zerks on my swaybar links (after market) were loose and grease would come out around the zerk but not go inside. Tightened them a wee bit with a wrench (half turn) and that fixed it. A wee bit, don’t over tighten. If you put a wrench on and it is already snug, don’t tighten it further or it will strip.

FFS I finally got it and my hands still hurt. This is what I used. There isn't enough space to tighten the coupler so I had to tight it just enough to barely slip on, the. Spin the entire grease gun while preventing the end from spinning.

Seeing the grease finally start to come out of the joint was so satisfying.

Also, I have dogs. Can you tell?

Had the exact same issue, I had a similar workaround. Glad you got it fixed!
