I purchased an 09 and it has the grayish color grill with chrome surround.I want to have a black one, should I paint this one and does the black insert come off of the chrome?I am not trying to paint the chrome black just the insede. Or would I be better off purchasing a new aftermarket grill of the same.It looks like painting it would not give great results because of the upper and lower and in betweens.I can get one that fits the 05-08 that is aftermarket and looks the same for 90.00.And I assume the 05-08 will fit on the 09? Thanks Mike

i would go for aftermarket for that price, you could probably sell your chrome one on here for around the same price that you would pay for after market.

Is the aftermarket one chrome as well, cause usually they come not painted
