Some dealerships are shady. That doesn't make you being dishonest and shady any more justifiable though, it just makes you just as shady. What's the saying...an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind?

Satoshi, debadged, rear view mirror bracket, tail gate hose clamps, trimmed mud flaps.
    6g's? Hell no.

You could get Kenwood/Pioneers top of the line navi h/u and top of the line Morel/Focal components and 4 ch amp for that kind of dough.

6 grand for a head unit? So more than a transmission and it does less than an $800 iPhone? Got it.

You should consider making a comprehensive insurance claim if you're going to be bent over for 6 grand.

I think I found a place in Massachusetts that said they could probably fix it. My buddy owns a shop and recommended them. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I'd really rather not have the hit against my ins. If this place can fix it for as cheap as they say, I won't have to worry. I'm on the phone with them now.

I did the same thing on my aftermaket Kenwood touch screen, found a replacement screen on Fleabay for $60 and swapped it out, easiest 5 minutes of my life (what she said?). The only thing to consider is the plug that connects the screen to the motherboard of the radio, that's probably proprietary, otherwise I think any capacative touch screen of the same LxW would work.

Just got off the phone with the shop. $500 for the screen, $300 for the repair cost. $700 bucks is less than $1250 or 6k. Guess the roof rack is gonna have to wait.

It really depends on how much you like that headunit. for that money you could buy a really badass aftermarket headunit from kenwood or Pioneer

I want to keep it stock. I'm done with changing out radios and all. This sucks but it is what it is.

We looked it up on line, the price of the head unit is something like $3600. I can't wait to move out of CT.
