Help! I hate black rims.

Different worlds man! I had some older KMC rims on an F150 (I bought it with the rims on it) and they were pretty trashed. Sanded them down and since I knew I was going to replace them anyways I didn't do much after that. Within 2 weeks here in Montana they were rusted to shit and that was in summer, lol. The clear coat on them was peeling so I just sanded that off. Granted, they were a pretty cheap set of rims. The hub caps actually said "hot wheels". lmfao. They came off a couple weeks later.

Also, what size tire are you running? The Nitto's look great.

Also, Norm Macdonald... who played a better Burt Reynolds than Burt Reynolds did.

So, I haven't posted my rims in this thread, but I got the Black Rhino Stadiums. Yes, they are black. But they are simplest rims I have EVER had. They literally just hose straight off and leave no mess. I know this is an anti black rim thread, but if you are going to do black rims... keep it simple. I've had rims you can't even detail with a toothbrush and half your day there are so many small crevasses to get in. So this time, I wanted something with zero maintenance.



It's hard to tell and due to the weather I have not even bothered to put any 303 on the tires or rims yet, but hopefully soon I'll have a chance to really get a good detail in and some factory paint correction/ceramic work done. It's kind of hard to explain what the material of the rims look and feel like. But the almost satin like matte texture just sprays right off and looks clean. I suspect it'll take me about 5 minutes per rim/tire to get a good protectant layer on.

I was trying to compare prices on the gloss gunmetal and parts.toyota just said "order confirmed."

I actually bought a set of the Ronal Bear on tirerack closeout for a Lemons Race car. I think they were $65 each in 14". This was a Mazda 323 we bought on craigslist for $400 with expired tags to teach family how to drive a manual. Such a goofy wheel I wish they still made it.
