    Hello,

I have ICON 2.5” VSRR shocks up front with the stock 650lb 13” coil. I have about 1.7” of preload.

I emailed icon and they said reducing the preload by putting in a 14” coil would work, I also want to maintain my lift level. I also want to switch to a 600lb coil, I’m looking for recommendations and input.
Here’s a photo of what I think will work.

Here’s a photo of the current set up.

My goal is to maintain suspension travel, and increase ride quality by making it a bit softer.

ALSO, my shocks are currently being rebuilt by ICON and they will be adding the dampening adjustment.

A 50 lb spring rate change is right where we tend to go with the heavier rate options offered (the 158508 700 lb spring that we offer for heavier bumper applications for example.) This typically allows you to stay friendly with the valving in the shock as it is. The recommended reduction of 1" should be a good starting place.
