I have a new oil leak thats coming from a part right next to my oil filter, and its leaking pretty bad. Whats 4hat part? Looks like it has a wire coming out of the top. Upon futher evalution it is in fact the oil pressure sensor. Someone over tightend it making spider crack from the base of sensorgoing down and one going around. My options are not all desired. Mainly pulling the motor at this point isnt going to happen and hopefully my 3000.00 invested a week ago isnt down the drain. I used beltona 1311 and it seems to be leak free for the time being. Will will see how lomg the band-aid will last, but im not lettimg the lemon that i got detour me from buying another if i have to. I love these little trucks and will be more thorough in checking over the vehicle next time. Costly mistake on my part, and a dishonest piece of s÷=t on the other end. Thx for all who helped me in this matter! Peace!!

Hard to say without a picture but it sounds like the oil pressure sensor.

First thing - Get under there with some foaming engine degreaser (stuff is gnarly, so be careful) and get it on everything from the bottom to top end (including the valve cover area) and brush/agitate as much as possible and rinse thoroughly. Once it's clean monitor for the source of the leak.

Often times the leak comes from much higher up, or else where and gets blown onto whatever it is you might think is the source. Things have to be cleaned up to trace it back.
