    Hello,

I'm adding a radio to my 98 tacoma, I downloaded the FSM linked on this forum it shows that the FSM applies to the year 2000 tacoma, is this the same for 98?

My question is that the FSM identifes the speaker wires and their colors/pins but I don't see a label for - or +, I'm talking about the door speakers.
    colors:
    LG
    L
    P
    Y

    Thanks

    PS:
I can't find the section on the manual transmission on the FSM, anybody knows where it is on the FSM?

You can get a plug at wal mart for $7 that keeps you from having to cut your factory wiring. Otherwisw if you pull the factory speakers they are labled + and - on the speaker baskets.

Thanks, but previous owner already cut the wires behind the radio, and I'm trying to avoid removing the door panel if someone here has that info already.
