I can restart the , I can roll a couple of tire revolutions then caliper locks up. If I go in reverse it does not lock up? I turned VSC off, didn't help

Any noise coming from the wheels when driving?
Any work done on the brakes or wheels recently?

That sounds like a seized caliper or a blocked compensation port in the master cylinder. A blocked port would affect at least both calipers though.

You might want to pull the wheel and look? The wheel is likely to be pretty hot.

The code might be from the sensor or wiring getting cooked? Wild guess there.

Looks like the wire melted, I'm guessing its shorting, I should be able to just cut the wire and run without the sensor right? I've run with dead or no sensors before

are you out of warranty, or is the area modified such that warranty would be denied?

If in warranty won't Toyota come tow it?

I have 7" lift, so it's got extensions on it. it's brand new, 3500 miles with Toyota Platinum warranty.

Are you talking about the ski/speed/abs sensor wire? You can just unplug it at the top of the mount where it joins the wire harness. I can't remember how easy it is to access with stock fenders but you could also pull it from the back of the caliper if you have a zip tie to keep it out of the wheel.

That would at least allow you to test without cutting it.

The 3rd Gen is just as simple. The wires have polarity, but just about anything can be spliced in there or soldered. Precise resistance is not critical as I thought it would be.

Unfortunately, that is the most likely culprit. I'd be on the phone with your dealer. The lift is likely only warranted by the place that you bought it from.

The caliper unlocks until it rolls forward a few times then it locks, I'll try pulling ABS wire out from the top I guess

Definitely do this. If you just want to test, you can unplug it from the back of the caliper. It's really easily accessed.
