I recently bought some LED bulbs for the rear turn signals. I was getting a hyperflash, so I bought some Morimoto load resistors (http://www.vleds.com/lr-hd-c.html).

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to install the load resistors. I've tried various configurations, but continue getting hyperflash.

Do I splice the "red" wire on the resistor to the "green" wire on the turn signal?

    Please see attached pic!

It should be spliced into the green wire. The white wire with stripe is the ground.

To clarify a little more, the load resistor must be placed in parallel with the turn signal. So if you splice the red wire to the green wire, then the black wire of the resistor to the white wire on the turn signal, it should eliminate the hyperflash. Personally I went with an LED flasher from Superbright LEDs. No hyperflash ever, and no load resistors to deal with.

So the red wire from the resistor gets spliced to the green wire on the turn signal? Just want to confirm.

    Thanks!
