    Hi everyone,

I bought a pair of the Redline Tuning QuickLIFT struts from the group buy.

For those who have installed them: I measured 8.25" from the fender bolt for the lower bracket, but if it sits there's there's a bit of rubber that's in the way. Did anyone else have this problem?

The seam sealer stuff on the inner fender or like a black rubber stop for the hood? If its the seam sealer stuff, I think mine was really close, like 1/16". I don't recall if I just moved it forward a hair, or just trimmed the edge off the rubbery crap.

It seems like it's the seam seal, definitely not the rubber stop. It sounds like I'm good to just trim it off then?

I left mine.. maybe i should have trimmed. The seam seal helped space the bracket since the rear had the bump in the middle

So your bracket was directly on the rubber stuff?

Are there any group buys going on for the strut kits or deals coming up?

Just some cheap eBay led bed lights I adapted to be underhood. They’ve been great for three years now.

Hi everyone, I picked up the redline hood lifts, and getting ready to install. I thought I read about an extra bracket or spacer for the 3rd gen Manual Transmission that helped with the mounting. I can’t seem to find it now. Has anyone heard of this or had issues with their install. Thanks in advance.
