When I bought my 1998 Toyota Tacoma SR5 the carpet was already ripped out. Yesterday I ordered Viynl flooring, heat and sound insulation and the glue stuff to put down the insulation. What would be the best way to go about installing this myself and where would I stop with the insulation/viynl unxer the gas and brake pedals and under the glove box.

I used this as my guide of a how to:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Y-0CA6FKjs

It's a huge pain in the ass. I stopped as far up the firewall as I could go without hitting anything or making the vinyl fit poorly. Got a couple pics and tips in my build, best place to probably start.

    It starts here:

Might have some BS to sort through though.

It definitely could have been done much faster. I was dealing with tons of other shit issues like rust holes in the floor, rust, and leaky firewalls from tubbing. If the floor is in good condition it would have been much much easier. Plus I think I was doing the GM alternator and rebuilding my spindles at the same time too. I tend to bite off a lot all at once. :anonymous:
