Help iPhone Goes Silent

    New to forum new to Tacoma world!! 2016 Tacoma TRD Sport. When I enter the truck Iphone 6 goes silent and messages will not show on system calls are fine and shows all contacts. Any help would be great thanks!!

    My phone won't make noise when texts or emails are received if I'm using Bluetooth and connected to the head unit, but not in Phone mode. If I'm in Phone mode it'll beep through my speakers to alert me to a text. If I'm listening to the radio when the text comes in, it doesn't make any noise at all.
