I am trying to install the 12V ARB dual compressor using the Expedition Essentials install location on the passenger-side bed cubby. I have all the physical portions of the install done. But when I wire it up and start it up both the 40A fuses blow on the ARB-supplied electrical harness.
It looks like the problem is in the 15 ft harness extension from Expedition Essentials. Right now they(Expedition Essentials)have told me it is probably in the ARB provided items.
I have blown 10 of the 40A fuses so far (5 times for the set of 2 fuses) while trying to search down the problem. I have been in touch with ARB tech support and rewired the ground and the on/off switch. No solution.

HELP. Anybody got any suggestions? Those fuses are $5 each

My truck is the 2020 TRD DCLB Off Road w/Automatic Trans.

Can you briefly give us an idea of how you have the system wired?
Did you use a diagram? If so, can we get a copy?

The fact you are blowing two 40 amp fuses tells me that you either have a solid dead short somewhere in the system or you have a fully defective out of the box compressor which is drawing a heavy amount of amperage as soon as you flip the switch. My guess would be the first one.

As mentioned, post a picture of your wiring diagram. It would be incredibly helpful moving forward in giving you some suggestions in the areas to check.

Remove the compressor, remove the extension harness, install the provided harness ("short" one), test the compressor function off the vehicle.
