It’s on the front passenger side wheel well that I just found out today. Also I’m running on 3” lift Rough Country with stock UCAs and 285/75/17 wheels and I just did alignment today. Caster is way too low. Is there anyway I can bring up the caster to the spec? What are the consequences if I run on this low caster too long?. Thank you!

Maybe look above the wheel well? I'll second that it looks like PS fluid.... but only one way to find out.

What exact lift are you running? You need UCA's w/ a 3" lift regardless.

Looks like overspray of penetrating oil, they were probably spraying stuff down to make adjustments for the alignment.

Remove the intake, clean it out including the MAF and throttle body, then change the oil (obviously the oil filter too). Also, throw that K&N in the trash. Get a paper filter. No, I'm not joking.

Do you use the spray on or the pour out bottle... i always use the aerosol or manual pump sprayer ... only needs a light misting. also should let it sit for a bit before use.

I've used K&N filters for decades and never had an issue. As long as you don't over oil them they won't clog the MAF. Even the TRD air filter is oiled.

I dust them with a light spray, let them dry, and they spray them once more. They don't need to be soaked to work.

Track? Yea "performance air filters" are ok... Daily driver? No. TRD or not. Carbon filter or not. They just don't filter. That's why you get more performance.

Another great reason why not to use them is pretty clear cut in this thread...

Take the intake off and look inside.. If that much oil leaked and you drove with it, probably. Is that carbon filter wet? You might be okay because of it, but if that carbon filter is wet, it's trash and then you go further. Can you also share what the filter and below it looked like?

I'd just blot that top piece with a paper towel. Maybe check your throttle body and maf and clean/wipe out if needed.

If a carbon filter gets wet, it's ruined. Definitely not good to mix an oily chemical with it. You wouldn't want to keep it in the cabin if it was in there, but tbh, really no harm in removing it from the intake in the engine if need be. Tbh, kinda defeats the purpose of having a K&N style filter in there and probably part of the reason they started adding them, to avoid issues like this with oily filters among other emissions things of course.

Checked entire intake, no sign of leaking thru, carbon filter is still dry. . Cleaned the sensor as well for extra safe. I also switched out to WIX anyway.
