    Hello Tacoma World!

I know there are hundreds of threads about Bilstein suspension but I have poured through forum posts for the past couple months and have had trouble finding answers to a few specific questions.

I have a 2021 SR5 DCSB that I use for travel and in the future, some light overlanding, so I need to do something about the rear end sag. I have settled on the icon RXT leaf pack (going to set it up with option 2 to start with and see if I need to up it to option 3) but have been back and forth between 5100, 5125, and 5160 in the rear and have questions about each. Icon says option 2 gives a 2.25" lift unweighted and 1.75" with 200lbs in the rear. I'm estimating I'll have closer to 600-700lbs when max loaded (maybe 15% of the time).

    5100:
my worry with these is that the travel isn't going to be quite enough. I think when weighted down I'll be within 1" with option 2 on the Icon leaf pack but when I'm not, will I risk damage to the shock from topping out? Will I need limit straps? extended length says 22.94"

    5125:
Apparently there are a bunch of travel options for these but the only ones I can find are the ~9.5" travel ones for 2"-3.5" lifts. Will I absolutely need to increase the size of my bump stops so I don't risk bottoming these out? they say the collapsed length of them is 15.01" and extended is 24.38"

    5160:
This is my preferred option but they seem to have dimensions right in between the other 2 so I am worried about both scenarios. collapsed: 14.22" extended: 24.06"

My plan is to get the rear sorted out before I move on to the front. Once I know the height that I sit loaded and unloaded, I can make a decision about how high I need the front to be...which leads me to my next questions. Is there anything I should be worried about running upgraded Bilsteins in the rear while keeping the front end stock? if I decide to go with the 5160s in the rear, will I suffer if I put 5100s in the front instead of the 6112 it seems most people do?

Little background on my use of the truck, most of my mileage is on the highway and I will be traveling with a fair amount of weight. 2 mountain bikes on a rack, tools, cooler, camping gear, snowboarding & ski gear and a RTT. As often as possible I'll be getting out onto forest service roads and occasionally will want to do some easy to medium overlanding trails though I won't have as much weight in it when I do that.
