Hello All, I have the ABS code 44 on a 2002 Tacoma Xtracab 4x4 6cyl automatic. I took the car to the dealership cause I couldn't pull the code. They charged me $81.00 to tell me they had TWO MASTER MECHANICS look at the truck but had no idea where the deceleration sensor was. I have searched the forum but I can only find threads that talk about the location of a Manuel shift truck. I was going to remove and clean the sensor and reinstall but I would love any advice on the location and procedure. The code comes on intermittently while driving and then resets when I shut off and restart the car. Does anyone have any experience with this? I would appreciate the help.
    Thank you
