I have a stock 2014 TRD OR Prerunner. Its about time to replace the tires so I'm thinking about doing a lift, wheels and tires together. I don't do any wheeling. I'm 98% highway driving. I do go to mountains for hiking every year so for a week or two I might be driving fire roads, mountain roads or river access roads. Also I drive a lot for work about 25K miles/year.

I was originally thinking of doing a small 2"-2.5" lift, like 5100's at 0 w/884's and AAL, w 265/70/17's. I don't want to have to replace UCA's and going with the 265's shouldn't affect mpg's much if at all.

Then I noticed the Maxtrax Spindle lift. Looks nice, suppose to maintain factory geometry and ride, and I think it could fit 285's.

I need help picking which lift or if I should even lift it at all. My DCSB has handled everything with ease in stock form, but I like the lifted look. I dont mind a stiffer ride but dont want to deal with vibrations, parts wearing out, or the truck wandering while driving.

I drive mostly highways at 80mph. Am I going to have any issues with wandering at that speed with either of these lifts?

Which of these 2 lifts would you recommend for me?

If I go Maxtrac, Ive readI would need wheels spacers for the rear, are there any other hidden costs that I should know about ie: longer brake lines, new shocks, etc.?

Will the maxtrac allow for 285s without a CMC?

Are there any negatives about the OME 884's w/5100s?

    thanks for any help.

Get spindles and all pro leafs. Keep your stock front shocks if you want, no ucas needed, extended brake lines come with the spindles.

285 will fit with spindles and 4.5bs wheels without cmc for sure. I have them on spindles, 6112 on third ring and fn wheels five star with grabbers. The wheels make them rub but they have 3.5 bs and -25 offset
