    Why not a first gen? I've never owned a 2nd or 3rd, but I sure love mine. Easy to work on and not too computerized. You could get a beautiful one in your price range.

    Thank you for the info, even though it wasn’t a reply to me. I didn’t realize that the newer Tacos would have issues with suspension and lifts or tire size, so that something That I would have to really look into seeing as I purchased a 2019 in January.

    And welcome to TW, UnLearnYourself. I don’t have anything to add to help you in your quest. Most people on here have much more experience and knowledge than I do.
    I eventually bought a 2019 Tacoma (DCLB TRD Offroad) this year because we needed a new vehicle, I have always needed a 4WD for some of my work, and the used ones were not enticing in price (compared to new).
