I probably will. Mainly because I know I'll like it if I get it. I just wouldn't want to get the hybrid and for some reason it not being my style after it's on my truck.

I'm not a huge fan of either but if I had to chose I think I like the Elite more. Purely aesthetic reason though.

Shay, you already know my opinion, but to help support Billy and his awesome work.

Billy unveiled HIS HYBRID design on 04/12. I don't believe there is anyway possible he could have ripped off anyone else's design that didn't even start until AFTER he unveiled it. Shay, you are correct, Billy doesn't use a fill plate on the top that goes into the side tubes. AND the tube angles are different. So I wonder, who exactly the thief is?????

Heres a link to the unveil:

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...hybrid-front.html?highlight=bruteforce+hybrid

Guess youre right, truth is all that matters. Truth is, his was out first. There's no reason to come in and start bashing on another persons product. There are multiple companies out there that make hybrid bumpers. All of which have some similarities. That's life, no reason to come in here call a very reputable person like Billy a thief. Seriously pissed right now.

There's a guy on here that just got a hybrid and had Billy put in filler plates in the open corners. I ordered a Hybrid and wish I could have done the same cause it's pretty sick. He put cutouts for the Dually's as well.

Ha! I was right  And to let everyone know… I'm pretty sure I'll be getting an elite. It's just my taste more than the hybrid. But gosh the hybrid is sick

We are talking about the fill plate that's actually on the very top, not the ones filling the bar gaps.

Full plate. The "wings" on the hybrid bumper cannot take a heavy hit.

That's another reason I'm leaning towards elite. If I hit a deer with the hybrid, it won't be pretty. It will be pretty damaged. I'm sure an elite won't be perfect after hitting a deer, but I'm sure it will hold up more than the hybrid. Not hating the hybrid, it's just the elite fits my needs more. I know, I know.. I should probably be getting an ARB to fit my needs best, but I don't like the look as much. lol

The hybrids start somewhere around $800. The filler plates would be additional. Those light cut outs were done by another member, but I'm sure Billy could do the same during production.

That ones not mine. It's a member named Numnutz.

But a hybrid like mine weighs about 90 Lbs. Not too bad as it goes for an aftermarket bumper. I say like mine because I don't have the filler plates. And I don't think my mileage is that much worse than before, but I don't typically watch my gas mileage too much.

Both are nice-- but OP, if you're really interested in protection against deer, think about an ARB.
