I know. That's not my main reason though. I'm mainly going for looks. Then protection from deer, brush, etc.. Hence why I don't want an ARB. I saw a tacoma drive through town with one and it looked good. Plus an FJ that works close to where I work has one.

:rofl:stop giving yourself so much credit. Let me guess, he stole your REAR hybrid design too?

Billy, being a personal friend, showed me drawings for this waaaay prior to its debut and I never seen any other "hybrid" design out before then.

Well I guess it's known where I stand on the decision:D

OP, I know you made a decision with Elite but I recommend (as with ANY aftermarket bumper) to order some frame braces from either Tim or Billy. It's a good way to keep your bumper from ripping away from the flimsy area where the bumper mounts to.

I really like the TRD in your bumper.

Along with your comment, IIRC, Billy sells the braces for $65 for the pair. There is a local member with a Pelfrybuilt front bumper that ordered them after he saw mine. The detail that Billy puts into his products is second to none. Even down to the braces, they are made so well and strong.

Thanks, Billy only made 3 or 4 bumpers with the TRD cutout. :D

Yep. The BF braces and 100% beef. I never would have thought to add gussets where Billy added them.

Has anyone heard from Billy lately? I've been trying to get a hold of him for a week now.

When you can't get ahold of Billy it means he is working his ass off completing orders. He will contact you he is probaly working on your stuff and mine. Give him time it's almost Chirstmas and I know his orders are through the roof.

I spoke to him last Friday and he's around but very busy. He's got 2 guys helping him out right now but give him a little time and he'll buzz you back. I was fortunate to see a plate bumper at Fastenal he made for someone and that thing was beast! There would be body parts all over the place if you hit a human with it. Pure craftsmanship and quality

Billy called me back last night. All is well. Added a rear bumper to my existing front bumper order.

wow I really like the elite. Out of all the bumpers I've seen on here, bruteforce is the way i'll be going, without a doubt!
