Firestone ride rite suspension = 0 sagging under any condition. Period. Just enter in the lift you need.
I would buy mine again in a second. Best mod I did. Couldn't do without it actually.
With my Fox suspension much smoother than 5100's.
4wheelparts told me I wouldn't be sorry, and they were right.
I ride in new 2021's and the ride is no comparison to my 2016.

bilstein 5100 OME 887 in front gave me 2 1/2 inch lift
AAL in rear gave me 3” or a tad over rear.
after shell and some tools it is now level just the way I wanted. I never liked the rake. Basically it had a factory rake and when I lifted it it stayed raked Because I lifted it evenly if that makes sense I didn’t do a leveling kit because I didn’t wanna have a shell and tools in the back later on and then have a sag now it is perfect

I got a quote from a local shop and I guess the 5100s are pretty much OOS. He quoted for Eibah shocks. Not sure which model but similar price ($25 more / shock).

From what I can find, the 5100 is a digressive shock while the Eibah is progressive. I have no idea how that will affect the ride. Any reason to hold out for the 5100s or Eibah just as good?

Assuming you mean Eibach, both brands are very reputable. I can't speak to the difference because I haven't tried either (I have OME coils and shocks) but I've seen plenty of people satisfied with both, and I personally like the OME products I have installed.

One thing I am learning now, and please correct me if I am wrong - not paying attention to the sway bar post lift has resulted in it breaking down and not doing its job. I'm upgrading the bushings and replacing linkages now, while adding a drop kit to it as well. I think that will help.

I rode bilstein 5100s for about 10 years, they are nice! Eventually traded out the stock coils for some eibach "performance" coils, which are a click down from the 600#ers. They did help some issues, but yesterday that all came off and I replaced with bilstein 6112s and man, I wish I did that sooner! The 5100s look rough but still work. Best thing I ever did on the leaf pack was replace it, icon rxt with bilstein 5160s. Both of those items were higher budget than I wanted but once I got them on, worth it. Bilstein makes great mid budget options. Bear in mind I wandered out of the gen2 forum, my buddy @acupunk has pretty much the same setup though in his 2019.

I was just thumbing through a thread on the Eibach PRO TRUCK Coilover 2.0 Stage 2 and those sound like they might be a good option without costing too much more.

I believe Eibach makes the coils for Bilstein, so all of us Bilstein fans are secret Eibach fans. All good stuff. I got a 40$ 2" block kit from Amazon for the rear, had that one for a bit. Lifted it sure but the ride was rough. Just depends what you want and what fits your budget. Also I got a lot of my stuff from Headstrong, sometimes they are great about helping you pick a good solution. But lately I have a bunch of emails from them just saying "yeah some people do that depends what you want" so take that with the old grain of salt.

I'm working with a local shop. I have no plans to do the work myself and I'm hoping a shop has enough experience to give me good advice combined with what I can learn on my own. Thinking I might bite the bullet and get new leaf pack in the rear and new coilovers in the front and hopefully avoid redoing things.

Well I might have missed it, but @phdog correct me if I am wrong here - You want the truck to ride 2"ish over stock all around, and you want to compensate in the rear for the additional weight added by a shell and regain the stock rake?

What will be your use case after everything is said and done? Comfortability around town, maximal travel? Or maybe you don't really know and that's okay too!

Yeah, 1.5 - 2" over stock and compensate for the additional weight in the rear from the shell. Ideally, it would be back to the factory rake so that when adding gear I don't end up all bro-lean and butt dragging.

Use case is mostly a daily driver so certainly want it to drive as well or ideally better around town. I also take it camping/hunting/fishing and while I don't go off-roading as a sport, I do like to explore 4x4 roads and have gotten into places with the stock setup I wouldn't have expected. The extra height and shock upgrade should make these a bit less hairy. I have sliders but no plans to armor up.

I got the AP 3" leaf pack heavy duty, new bump stops, and off of my sons truck a hardly used OME lift up front. I did get 3"+ in back, and only 1.5 up front
so I definitely got some rake/lean, as much as a lot of people hate spacers, will probably add a 1/2" spacer to get the front up a bit, and some new tires should
make it look ok! Bed rack in back now, tent coming this week, swing out bumper down the road should add some weight!!

Hey OP it seems like youre going with a full leaf pack which is sweet. As a heads up, do a little squeak prep work before you put them in. Choosing lubricant for bushings or putting plastic in between the leaves. If you are on dusty trails it a decent amount youll hear them squeak and it could start to drive you crazy

    Like, so many.
Yeah, I got about an inch with mine and ended up putting in a one inch block to get some rake back.
