As the title says I'm trying to plan my next upgrade for my '23 off-road. I have a $3000 budget. I use the truck for camping and light off-roading (ie not rock crawling, mostly service roads and open trails). I have a camper shell installed and only 16k on the truck so tires are still decent. Options are as follows with some caveats.
    • Rock sliders and ceramic coat
    • Rims and tires (might have enough to get CMC and the like if needed)
    • Re-gear / ECGS / Tune (this might exceed the budget, but the wait to get into SIBI is long)
    • 6112's and leaf packs
    Thanks!

If you haven’t yet, you really should upgrade the radio knobs.

I think these are all very different and you should know what you want or need next if you’re going to spend that much money on mods. If you don’t do new larger tires no need for a regear, or at least not the same gears you’d want if you go big tires later.

what is your ultimate goal, and build towards it. Might have to wait and do more things together for it to make the most sense.

The stock knobs are perfect for my child sized hands :D

So really I'm stuck because eventually all of this will get done. I get that without larger tires I won't need gears, but if its coming eventually anyway why not. I guess my issue is I'm not sure what will get me the most value right now. Lift and packs would be great for the extra camping weight. Rims and tires look nice. Sliders and coat would be nice to keep the truck from getting trashed. Gearing is whatever but I know its in the future.

Tbh ive always tried to 'group' my upgrades together just so it isnt so much back and forth with the install and taking out parts etc2 but again to each his own.

If this was my list i'd go 1) 6112 AAL 2)Rock sliders 3) Tune 4) rims&tires since you said yours are still decent 5)ceramic or re gear/cmc if you need it

Tbh you could also do the tune first

33" pizza cutters. Gives you the most clearance under the 2 bumpkins... And no need to re-gear.

If you dont do rock crawling, you dont need rock sliders.

    ^ Agree

I'd go with the 6112s and leaf pack, it will make driving through the trails to your camping destination way more enjoyable than stock. Plus, you can probably sell your gently used stock suspension on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace or on this forum to recoup a bit of money

i have most of your list minus the first item "rock sliders" i dont plan on doing any rock trail work. Lift transformed the look of the truck and regear made it enjoyable to drive. I bought most of my stuff on sale but i dont think you can get a regear and self installed lift 6112 w/aal for less than 3k (re gear was around 2k and i think parts for 6112 were 1k but prices for bilstein are higher than when i bought them)
