Are you going to be doing more driving along Ridges or Mountain peaks?

I really don't think you'd be disappointed with either tire. I had Nitto Terra Grapplers on my Tundra (2 sets) and was very pleased with the performance and wear. It was between them and the Wildpeaks for the Taco and decided to go with the Wildpeaks. My advice, go with whatever you can get the better deal on!

I have Wildpeaks and use them in the desert, mountains and snow. They have been great. Tread life seems to be very good too even as a daily driver.

2.5” OME lift, Koenig Six Shooter wheels, 275/70r17 Nokian Outpost AT, CMC, Nitro 4.88s, Greenlane aluminum sliders, CBI aluminum skid, Greenlane aluminum front bumper, Out Gear Solutions HC rear bumper, Baja SAE fogs
Get whatever is cheaper. All modern name brand tires released in the past 5 or so years are good.

Agreed from everything I have researched. I am getting my MT's put on tomorrow. As a bonus they have a $100 rebate on a set of them right now,

    Just some stuff...
The only thing I don’t like after running wildpeaks for the last 20k miles is that now they seem to follow any groove on the highway compared to just crossing over them without any problem before. I was just up in Oregon for a couple weeks on vacation in the Deschutes forest area. Lots of snow and ice and slush. They honestly did much better than I expected them to!

I personally was planning on replacing my stock tires with Wildpeaks when they're due. I have also read anecdotally that the Wildpeaks have a reputation of being a bit quieter on road than competitors? Not sure if there is actual truth to that...

I've been on the Ridge Grapplers now for almost 2 weeks. Love them!!
And I was able to get $375 for the stock Wranglers after a couple hours on CL. Bonus

Wildpeaks have been great in snow/ice conditions in the Sierra Mountains up here.

I’ve also been very pleased with WPs performance on snow and ice.

I’ve got 35K miles on a set of Wildpeak’s on my 2021 TRD OR without any complaints. I live in Virginia and frequently deal with driving in snow and ice so the 3 peak winter rating was a big selling point for me. My driveway is crushed pebble and has a 15* incline with multiple switchbacks which requires 4WD during snow season here. I’m running 265/75/16’s on factory rims with the TRD 2” lift kit. There’s a good chance I’ll go with WP’s again unless I can’t get the size I want.

Wildpeaks is my choice. Had the Ridge grapplers, and they sounded like cheese graters on the highway. As they wore in, it got worse.

What does a cheese grater sound like?

Like my ex-wife when they handed her $3500.00 total divorce settlement, and she loaded up onto the plane....then realized, she'll never get another green card. Yeah, it sounded like that.

Usually cheese graters are pretty silent in operation, unless you're not very good at it and keep banging your knuckles into the grater as you grate the cheese.

Based on his description, I would assume the Ridge Grapplers are really quiet, similar to cheese graters.

I was trying really hard to remember the last time I heard a noise when grating cheese... Not that I grate cheese that often lol.
