I'm at the point I need a little help on which RTT to get.

It will be mounted on the reinforced lid of a Tentrax trailer.

Intended uses..... Southern Utah - everything from mountains (in the summer) to desert (in the winter). Realistically probably 6-8 one or two night trips/year as my wife and I are still working full time.

What is the life expectancy of on non-ruggedized versus a Ruggedized? I'd like to keep it for "years". It'll be in my garage when not in use.

Is the Ruggedized more waterproof/windproof, etc.

Is there anything else I should be aware of?

    Thanks everyone!

I spent about a year deciding and went with the Ruggedized Kukenam. You will pay a bit more but it is a thicker material which should contribute to longevity as well as protect you better from the cold and/or snow. It is also set up well with vents to deal with hot weather. Have some photos here, here and here. The move to the trailer was best thing I did although I still have the option of using it on my truck. I am very happy with my Tepui and especially how easy it is to set up. Just need more time to put it to use. I did have to wait a while (4-5 months) for the haze grey one though (definitely did not want the orange color). It was worth the wait.

Your welcome. Just let me know if you have any specific questions. I went through a lot of deliberation for various tents but primarily Cascade and Tepui such as weights, size, and other considerations before I finally pulled the trigger.
