I plastidipped the grill and bumpers matte black. I also painted the wheels temporarily but will be getting new ones soon. Should I keep the black and/or paint it permantly (the plastidip is holding up great! Had it for close to 2 months no scratches or anything!) or should I color match it to silver.

I don't usually respond to these things because I don't have any idea and I'm boring. But, since you have that old cruiser emblem on your grill... umm, maybe try like a dark silver or charcoal type color on the wheels? Maybe gunmetal gray or whatever that one color is called? I think a little contrast with the wheels wouldn't be a bad thing since you have the black fender flares and bumper and stuff. Take that opinion for what it cost, lol.

I would just leave it black for now and when it needs to be touched up I would paint it then.

I agree with @cruiserguy. Gunmetal would give a nice contrast to the black and silver theme you have got going without being completely black. That's what I did on my truck and it looks awesome! But I've always thought silver DCs look great with black wheels...

P.S. Nice rig! Love the old school TOYOTA on the grille

nice truck, I like the look but Id probably permanently paint the wheels, I painted my wheels with duplicolor and its still holding up really well and looks great

Haha when I said DC I meant Double Cab. My mistake, but those DC-2 wheels are pretty cool! I've always liked "simpler" wheels, which is part of the reason I went with SCS F5s. Just know that if you have 15" wheels right now you will need new tires (16" or 17" is all they come in). I would defiantly take a look at the SCS lineup if you get time!

Oh no my bad I misread your comment. I just looked at that site and I like them a lot. I have 16s so I could go ahead and get them but I'm getting tires at the same time I get my wheels so I can get them put on all at once. I'll definatley consider those SCS they don't look bad at all!
