So I settled on an HP. Got a pretty good deal on an envy 17 with a few upgrades. I stopped by the apple store and everywhere around town that sells computers so I could see the screen resolutions for myself. I was impressed with the HPs, seemed clearer than my desktop monitor.
Which brings me to the next dilemma...my monitor died yesterday. i think its jeaslous of the new gear on the way.
I get a very dim view of whatever is on the screen when i hit the power button then nothing. I think i have my old monitor around somewhere, guess I'll dig that out. Otherwise its going to be interesting getting things off my old computer. Maybe i can borrow a monitor from work...
Good thing the new laptop will be in tomorrow!
