So I am installing my ARB compressor and switches and I've come down to the last wire. This is the dashboard illumination wire that I need to splice into. Can anybody help me in identifying this? Also, a picture would be wonderful. I have a 2011 Tacoma

Since you are an automatic, the easiest wire to tap into is the shifter illumination wire. Easy power and ground connection for illumination. If my wiring diagrams are correct, it should be a green and a green with white stripe wire for illumination.

Yup... if the switch is going on the console, then the shifter, or the HVAC panel.
If it's going on the left dash, then the two bottom terminals on one of the existing dash switches.

That's where it's going. On the dash to the left of the steering wheel. Thanks.

If the VSC switch lights with the dash, there you go.
If not, there may be connectors behind the other blanks.

So I'm finally getting around to hooking up the illumination wire an have decided to tie into The dashboard dimming control. Does anybody have a wire diagram of that specific terminal?
