NIce, thanks. Looks awesome. So do people usually get the 1.5" or 2"? I have a short bed so seeing what the consensus is.

They hold up fine depending on what you do with them, I've got 15k on mine and they're still as good as the day I put them on. Comfortable like the OEM OR shocks but not quite as bouncy.

For the cost they are a very good shock but if you spend a lot of time in the dirt or live on a rutted / washboard road and travel it at high speeds, get something else.

As far as springs go, 886 is for additional weight like a bumper, 888 is the tallest that may put you above 2.5 inches. You should select between 885 or 887 to be right at 2 inches.

Some even get 885 springs then bump up one clip setting for a little more height.

Mine is just below 2 inches up front because I wanted to keep the rake even with a toolbox in the bed. You may want 887 if you usually run an empty bed if OME is the way you want to go.

But if you plan on dipping more into offroading then go with the 6112/5160 for more performance instead of height.

Thanks. So 887 and 885... why would they give the same height. Wouldn't 887 be higher?

Yes 887 is higher but depending on sag, you might be closer to 2 inches with 885. Every truck is different.

Do you want level or rake? I wanted rake with a longbed and toolbox so I went with 885, I dont need to be above or below a certain amount like you seem to be at 2 inches.

I want some rake. So if I go 5100s 887 and a 3AAL (1.5 or 2 inches- still not sure) will that raise everything up evenly?

Rake is helpful when braking, especially with a load.

    Rake for the win

You're getting off track. Just say no to 5100s and ome coils.

Still, what do most get... 1.5 or 2” for the 3 aal? Thinking of the wheeler off road ones?

3 leaf AAL with overload out is 1.5 but mine settled with the weight I added and it was 1.25” or a little less.

Aight the overload in your closer to 2” and it will Hold weight better

Maybe I’m confused. Wheeler sells a 1.5 or 2” kit. Do I want the 1.5 kit and leave overload in?

All 3 leafs or single leaf AAL are the same no matter where you get them. You either either getting somewhere around 1.5” lift with overload out or somewhere near 2” of lift with overload in

Sometimes wheelers website is confusing. Have you looked at headstrong offroad website? They offer free shipping if your worried about shipping costs.

Getting everything else from there prob. They are out of stock on their 3leaf. Btw did you do the 5-6th notch thing to compensate for lean, or the 1/4” spacer with equal notch settings on the 6112s?
