I'll grab some more pics shortly, there may be some in my albums in my profile as well. The only rubbing thus far has just been on my rekgen flap as it sticks out further then the inner fender well. Mind you I am running JBA UCA's and have a few inches of lift.

love my MR305NV, however I do hate on the lip... it retains water, and always leaves a wet/dirty spot on the inside of the rim. I love how they look.. 285/70/17 GG at-x.. they ride great..

Cool I'm just going to use my stock 245/75 tires with no lift at first so hopefully I don't have issues

Did you use hub centric rings? I'm torn between the 704s and the stadiums, but the stadiums have a 112.1 bore and I cannot find any rings to fit them down to 106.1.

those should work. I ended up going with the methods. Black rhino did send me a part number for the rings they made. SR12106 however I couldn’t find a place that had then. Although I’m sure you could contact BR and get a set through then.

I've been combing through the forums but couldn't find information here on wheels that are both good for highway use and soft sand running on low psi. My use does not require a beadlock wheel. The sand roads I will be traveling on get pretty deep and soft. I've been driving 4x4's as a beach guard for over 30 years and what I'm looking at is much different. Pressures I have run at have ranged from 12-16 psi but for what I may be driving on I may be getting down to 10 ??? Vision, Raceline, Reika, and Method have a grooved texture on the inside of the lip and this seems to be adequate for my needs but the Icon Pro Rebound appears to be the best of all worlds. I'm into function first and foremost and cost only to meet demand. I don't need a Ferrari to drive at 25mph. Beauty is in the design and function for the application in its use. Anyone provide what has been working for them running their Tacomas in a similar environment? And I will be keeping my truck with the stock suspension using 17x8.5 6x5.5 0mm offset. Thanks.

In my opinion, an aftermarket wheel isn't necessary to run 10psi on the sand. You can do that on OEM wheels. Short of a beadlock, you can bust a bead on any aftermarket wheel, in any situation at low psi if you try hard enough.

To heavy for my taste at 32lbs a wheel. They are stupid strong but is the weight penalty is not worth the daily compromises. As mentioned earlier the black rhinos come it a much better weight. My old fuels were a 30lb wheel and they were to heavy.

701’s all day. They are just so dang clean. I was thinking about getting those as well but went with the SCS F5’s. All great wheels and good luck on whichever you choose, congrats!

From information I have gleaned in the forums here I am trying to avoid; trimming, cutting or otherwise making any changes to the suspension or body of my truck. Stock is fine for me at this time. My understanding is that I need to stay with a wheel size of 17x8.5 6x5.5 omm offset and a tire size of 265/70R17 to avoid this. SCS has a -10mm offset. Then too is there is the matter of hubcentric rims, which I don't fully understand but seems the better choice.

That looks exactly like the wheels on my 5x10 utility trailer.

When i was wheel shopping for 17s, i really wanted Methods with bead grip tech, unfortunately during that time they were on backorder, out of stock, etc. I was shopping for wheel weight as well. I found motegi trail lite 17s and they were on sale so i couldn't pass em up. I wrapped them in 295 70 17s..I air down to about 12lbs when i go offraod and crawling. So if your going to wheel on some rock trails, i would go with the bead grip wheels just to have that extra piece of mind. I will eventually purchase a set and 35s when i have the funds. But in the end its your rig and get the wheels that you like and make the truck look great. Method has really nice wheel designs to choose from.

I forgot about this thread I take back what I said before about not like the look of FN wheels. The five star really grew on me and I bought these a while back and though I wanted the grey (they were out of stock at the time) the black does go well with my truck. I've wheeled them a lot and have had zero issues with them.
