help me order my must haves before i take delivery

Waiting for my 2022, DCLB TRD-OR, premium OR, advanced tech.... 12 weeks to go..

There's a few items I have ordered already, but curious what else is a close must have for it. No heavy off roading planned, just a daily driver.

I have already seat jackers, tailgate extender, onboard battery tender, weather tech floor mats.

 

OEM Bed Mat.

 

The interior led kit was like $16 on Amazon and really looks nice.

 

Upgrade the suspension. Its not needed, but since you have a long bed, your going to notice it bounces all over some roads depending on how the "waves" in the road are. You dont need a lifted suspension, you can get good suspension thats the same height as stock.

 

Are we talking just new shocks? or springs also.

 

Seat covers. I like the clazzio’s. Maybe a bed cover like bakflip. I doubt you’ll need the seat jackers since it will have a power seat.

 

Absolutely a bed mat.

 

Soft topper is nice to have when is raining season. Its light, simple and easy to remove.

 

Your going to want the Raptor Lights to install in the grill.

 

OEM Running boards & mud guards.

 

Bed lights and locking tail gate option is a must and optional Diamondback SE tonneau cover.

 

Meso Total Tail Stage 1 or 2 tail lights.

 

Intermittent wiper

Most*** Tacomas don’t come with it. My POS 98 civic had it.

 

You can do just new shocks. I think the bilstien 5100s use the stock springs. But a nice aftermarket suspension will vastly improve the onroad handling and ride of your truck. The stock offroad comes with toothpicks for shocks.

If you want to keep it OEM you can get the stock pro suspension. It levels the truck (lifts the front 1 inch) and is miles better than the stock offroad suspension.

 

High quality suspension.
If 75% of driving or more is on street get a digressive shocks.

 

Gasoline funds.

 

I would wait until you actually take possession of the truck before you go buying a lot of accessories. With the way the market is, there's no guarantee you'll actually get the truck until the papers are signed and the keys are in your hand.

 

I'm coming out of a Ram 2500 (10mpg average). i'm hoping for at least 15 with the Tacoma
