Hi people, my name is Brad. Im new here and a owner of a 2007 Tacoma Dc, Lb, Trd Sport 4x4. This is my first Yota. Have been driving Dodges most of my life. So here I go.
I'm wanting to put a 2.5" lift om my truck. I want to keep my stock rims which are the sport rims with 265/65-17 on them
I also want to keep the mud flaps on too. Basically I want the 2.5" lift with few or no mods like trimming or cutting anything. SORRY. Is this possiable? So what do I have to put up front and put in the rear? And what size tire can I put on the stock rim?
I'm definitely going to have this professionally inst. Just want to compare all the ideas before I take it to my 4-wheel drive ctr.
So, what am I in for and how much of my wallet will it eat? Not that It can feed too many. lol!
Thanks everybody, and I hope Im not a pain in the s$$. Just want my Taco to look beter then my past Dodges.

install some 5100's in the front and an add a leaf in the rear you can set the bilstien 5100's to 2.5" no prob and there is no need to trim or take the mud flaps off. Welcome to TW. im running my 5100's right now im just waiting to get my coilovers rebuilt. contact sonny at www.downsouthmotorsports.com let him know your a member here.

Had tons on the old Taco's.... new Tundra is pretty stock
No problem- For the lift I would snag a complete set of bilstein 5100 shocks. You can add 2.5" lift to the front with those. Then get an AAL for the back to lift it a little too. You can run some 265/70/17's without any issues of rub on the UCAs or fenders with this setup.

A full set of 5100's should run about $290, then 80 for the AAL.

I wanna thank everybody for the info. I wanna thank Squad13 for the TSB school'n. I called Toyota and told them I only have 3 springs and not 4. Its going in for a look when I call in the Am. They said they want to inspect. I will take everybody info in and make a decision. I will post before and after pic's when done. First have to get Toyota to look at the Leafs.

Welcome to TW. Removal of mudflaps, trimming inside fenders, and pounding down the pinch weld are only really an issue when you get larger tires. You can probably go a little bigger(tires) than stock with out having to trim or remove anything.

    Hi Buzz.
Know it has been a few months since your posts here, but just curious if you did the TSB? Did you do the lift? If so what were the components/heights?
I am considering both the TSB and/or no TSB lift for about 2" front and back.
Thanks for any input - and your experience, pros and cons
