....and maybe tire size and back spacing

Ok ok i know these threads pop up all the time, but Im frankly tired of reading old threads.

This truck will see its fair share of highway use, but will also be used off-road on the ranch and for hunting. Will not see any hard core trail specific use, but will see its fair share in its previously mentioned intended use.

I know i want aftermarket UCA's and full leafs in the back.

Ive looked at both the all pro kit with these features as well as the toytec ultimate with UCA's and full leafs. Either one of these lifts significantly better than the other? Or is there another option at a similar price point?

Also can I get 33's under the truck with the proper back spaced wheels?

I recently put a 3" OME kit on mine. Only did the coils, no UCA's and went with an aal in the rear. I am happy with this kit as I have similar use as you mention. With this kit you could add UCAs and the dakars in the rear if you wanted. installed I paid about 1400, but I priced the kit thru toytec and would have run me about 9 and change. The guy also put me a new needle bearing, I guess a common problem that comes up once lifting these.

Both of the lifts I posted above with UCA's and leafs are about $2200 right off of the top of my head. Or within $200 of that

Based on your usage, Id go with either an OME kit or 5100s/OME coils. I have 5100s at .85 with 881s and 3 leaf AAL in the rear, suits me fine for under a grand total. Recently added LR UCAs for another $400

Reason for suggesting this over the kits I inquired about? Not questioning your suggestion just learning

Nothing wrong with the ones you listed, I was just throwing out a couple other options I'm personally familiar with (and are a bit cheaper I think).

Right now I've got the 5100's on all 4 corners, with the fronts on the middle ring (~2" lift) and a 2" extended shackles out back and 265/75R16's. I will likely go up to the full 3" here in the next week or so because my coils have sagged a bit.

This is all just a band-aid until I can go for a "legit" lift.

I've been doing a lot of reading lately on this subject and here's what I *plan* to do, based on my research, and reading other people's testimonials.

I'm planning on the All Pro "pro" kit with the full leafs to replace my aging stock ones ($1400). Then I'll likely go for the Camburg UCA's ($665). This will be step 1 of my Overlander build, since hopefully soon my '04 won't be my daily driver.

id recommend whichever brand you choose, be it allpro, dakar, deaver, wheelers, etc. choose a full leaf pack. the stock leafs are wear items and in my $.02 opinion, severely limited from the get go. adding a leaf would be a bandaid fix, similar to me adding lift shackles and spacers to compensate for my offroad bumpers before finding coil-overs and dakars.

Full leaf pack is definitely on the list regardless of source

If your gonna spend over 2k may as well go with the fabtech. My only complaint about the lift is how stiff you have to compress the front coils for the fab tech strut. I've done some off-road and some rides to the beach. Most of the time I spend on the road.
