I drive a 2007 TRD Sport double cab. It has a Readylift leveling kit currently installed on it.
No armor or plans for any.

I went up in tire size to 33's. Now I want a lift in the range of 2.5" to 3".

Like most I'm on a budget. I've found 3 different lifts that with some July 4th sale pricing are in my price range. I'm having trouble deciding which one gets me the most bang for my buck.

Let me know your thoughts or if you'd recommend something completely different.

    Lift number 1: $1900 (roughly...with sale price)

NITRO GAS SUSPENSION KIT SUITED FOR TOYOTA TACOMA 2005+ - STAGE 2
    [IMG]

Lift number 2: $1600 (roughly with SPC UCA's and Dever AAL)

    HEADSTRONG OFF-ROAD

    • OME Coil/Bilstein 5100 Kit - (HS05BK-1)

    OME COIL/BILSTEIN 5100 KIT - (HS05BK-1)
    $710.28 - $1,676.22
This kit is the perfect solution for those who don't want to spend a lot of money yet want a kit that can handle the trails. The kit comes complete with everything needed to both lift the truck and improve the suspension for the typical weekend warrior. The Bilstiens work wonders controlling the changing terrain while sustaining the quality of on road ride, the OME coils better support the trucks front end weight over the factory coils while still offering plenty of flex. Also included in the kit is a 1/4" top plate spacer that can be used to help eliminate the drivers side lean.

Rear options are available in order to lift the rear. Options include our HS 3-leaf add-a-leaf or the Deaver single leaf AAL. Either of these AALs will lift the rear approx. 1.5"-2" without drastically altering the quality of ride. Our 3 Leaf AAL includes new ubolts whereas the Deaver AAL will work with the existing factory ubolts.

    Lift number 3: $1750 (with SPC UCA's)

    Rogue Offroad

Bilstein 5100 with OME springs & Mini Pack

#2 looks pretty good. Just curious... what tire size is your 33" and what did you have to trim to get them to fit... assuming the leveling kit was 2" up front?

It is a 2" leveling kit.

Yes I trimmed, but mainly the plastic shroud up front. I still get rubbing when I turn hard.

My tire size is 275/70/R18. The Nitto Terra Grapplers. Love the tires...my second set

100% you should factor in a cab mount chop/relocate in the project.

Might want to ask @memario1214 if there are any upcoming sales to look forward too… or if maybe you can get the 6112 for up front and the 5110 in the back. Just a thought…

I have the Ironman Foam cells and really like them but can comment on the nitros… @ohcaltexscar can probably answer your questions about it though.

I really like the Ironman nitros, I’ve had a great experience with that kit. People can poopoo all they want about the brand or whatever, it has been a fantastic kit.

I would just suggest you get the lightest spring options, performance load stuff. Unless you know for sure that you want heavier spring rates.
The spring rates are adjusted for the Tacoma (I spoke with them about this) but are still based on their Hilux kits.

I have the Ironman 4x4 state 2 but with Foam Cell Pros and I am extremely happy with it. When I was looking at lifts one of the deciding factors for me was the leaf springs. My leaf springs were pretty flat, so instead of putting what I considered a band-aid and putting on a add-a-leaf. I replaced the whole thing with the new leaf springs. The FCPs are a great ride and I have had nothing but an excellent experience with Ironman thus far. If bilsteins ride ANYTHING like the stock ones that came with the TRD OR, then Ironman wins hands down as from my experience my truck feels much more planted and less bouncy.

Totally missed this tag until now, but it looks like @Databox dropped an order in already! You made a good choice. Hopefully they have those front 5100s in stock! We've been struggling to get a hold of them... If they don't and decide to pivot to something like a 6112 let us know as we have SPC arms, 6112s, etc all in stock here. Enjoy!
