What about a phrase on your "special purpose" that reads, "Her Stretch Armstrong". Word wrap might be useful.

My brother has a tat of his wedding band, which again goes with the blacked out (finger) sleeve (band) I recommended earlier!

I'm pretty fucking tattooed and I regret none. Why? When you settle on an idea look at it for an entire year. If after a year the design still appeals to you, then get it. My latest-

I got my second one not 2 weeks after my first. I had wanted the 2nd one for about 25 years though.

 

Was thinking about that too. I work with too many chemicals that aren't exactly jewelry friendly. I was told that a lot of dudes wear a soft silicon ring to work.

Tattooing a ring falls into the same category as tatting a name IMO.

I do this cause I can’t stand jewelry or anything on my hands or wrists. I don’t even wear watches. This goes back to my military days. My wife knew I wouldn’t wear one and if it wasn’t for the ceremony we wouldn’t even have bought me one.

 

I'm not saying get something all meaningful and crap. I have several tats and they all have a story behind them. Like one time my brother said let's get inked, and one time my son said let's get inked. Stuff like that. I have 3 kids, so I have 3 lady bugs on my wrist. If you've ever seen a group of lady bugs, they're all bunched together like a family. I have a bass clef on my finger because music was my first love and has gotten me through 2 divorces. Or go with a monkey, you can never go wrong with a monkey.
