265/70/R16, 2010 taco, mostly pavement driving with some gravel road and offroad thrown in. I live in Northern Mn and see a fair amount of snow/ice.
    I'm looking at these 3 AT's
    nitto trail grappler
    toyo open country
    wildpeak AT3's

    Thanks for your input.

Quiet, grippy in the cold, easy to balance. The LTs are still pretty light compared to other brands (low 50s in lbs), thats what i have now.. Ive had the p-metrics and they're even softer than the LTs which made them nice and grippy in the winter but they picked up nails more

If it's mostly pavement use and gravel roads. All of those tires are fantastic options.
The next consideration would be what is your budget, and then how much do you mind tire noise?
All of those are around the same price, and similar in noise when new but the ridge grapplers will get slightly louder than the others after they wear down to 75%
After looking at the tires that come out on top of those. What looks better to you, it honestly one of the biggest reasons people actually chose the tire they do, even though they wont admit it.
In all honestly none of those tires are bad options, and you'll get feedback from people trying to push you in the direction of the tire they bought because when you own one you believe its the best tire out there. Chose the one you like the most based on reading the good and bad reviews people have given. Choose any of these tires and your likely wont have any regrets.
Good luck! and have fun getting miles on your new tires!

I'm running nitto ridge grapplers and love them, but my next tire will be the Kumho MT71's. saw them and they're so aggresive and badass.

    Stock for now.. maybe
Whatever you get the tires marked with three 'mountain peaks' are rated for cold, snowy and icy weather. Should also be great during summer months as well.

Depending on how cold it gets theere some all weather or all terrain tires aren't rated for cold weather and the rubber can harden like a cheap extention cord would in the cold

    I'm bored too

would definitely recommend AT3 Toyos! Ive been selling tires/ wheels and lifts for 6 years now and have had amazing feedback about Toyos in terms of strength, longevity and lack of road noise. I personally run them on my 2017 Taco, i offroad all the time on hard rocky trails and not one has failed me or my offroad buddies.

as far as Falken Wildpeaks, ive had to warranty out many of them over the years for losing full tread blocks and major chunking. great street tire but the softer rubber is not of a great quality

Wildpeaks for the win! Go plus size if you want a little more tire 265/75/16.

Have you considered the Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S tires?

The Cooper Discoverer is a great tire. I had it on my 2nd Gen. I decided to try something different with my 3rd Gen and got the Toyo AT3's today. So far they're smooth. PXL_20201107_000528772.jpg

I was down to Wildpeaks and Toyo's, Wildpeaks for the win with the outstanding snow rating. I was a bit worried about the extra weight of this E rated tire but they all balanced perfect, run up to the speed limiter, glass smooth.
