I’m not exactly new, but this will be my first time going *kinda* LT

Just checking to see what I might be missing, and what pros/cons I am looking at given what options we have readily available to us

    Currently running:

    (Front)

AccuTune re-valved Foxes with my build in mind

    - these were built for when I was running Dirt King factory length uppers and lowers

    Dirk King +2 LT

    - will be upgrading to Dirt King spec Kings and bypasses

    (Rear)

    RXT Option 3

    Archive Garage hammer hangers

AccuTune re-valved Foxes with my build in mind

Weight on a daily basis without planning on doing anything fun:

C4 hybrid full height top tube

    Winch

RCI steel front skid, aluminum transmission and transfer, steel diff skid

Outgear Solutions HC Tube bumper w/swingout

    37 and a Hi-Lift on the swingout

20lb Powertank mounted on the passenger wheel well

GoFastCamper with probably 50lb inside the GFC TurboCubby on the passenger side

My RXT pack on Option 3 is pretty flat on this daily setup

In the near future the daily setup will also include a 270° awning and a shower tent and just might be packed full of everything else for a turnkey weekend trip

    Planning on running:

JD Fabrication spring under w/HD springs

    https://jdfabrication.com/collectio...ucts/2005-toyota-tacoma-rear-spring-under-kit

JD Fabrication shock relocate, probably with an angle brace instead of a tube, because our beds are tiny and every inch counts

    https://jdfabrication.com/collections/gen-3-tacoma-16-6-lug/products/rear-shock-mount

JD Fabrication spec King 2.5 or 3.0 “freebleed” piggybacks because I don’t know what I am doing and hopefully the tires will clear them

I don’t care about a few hundred dollars difference, is the 3.0 going to be better all around?

Currently running 37/12.50/17 on Method 701’s with a 2” spacer

Yeah I hate spacers but have to match the front and it will give me a little more room for shock clearance

    https://jdfabrication.com/collectio...back-free-bleed-shocks?variant=40303017132147

    DMZ frame boxing

I am not sure what to do about bumps yet

JD Fabrication claims a hydro would cause it to buck, and recommends an Energy Suspension bump

Pretty sure no Baja race teams use Energy Suspension bump stops, but I am not a Baja race team, just figured if I’m going through all of this, hydros would make sense

I love the idea of getting rid of the hammer hangers and the brace between them, as I would very much like to use that space for fuel and possibly water storage in the future

Aside from the Chevy 63 guys, I don’t know of anyone else who does it this way

Maybe it’s because it is a bad design and I don’t know any better
