    On that note, Mono Mills on 120 is a cool spot to check out, and the road from it to 167 around the east side of the lake is a fun drive. Just make sure to use caution when you get to the bogs out in the dunes a couple miles from 167.

    But that makes sense, first time I "went out solo," by the time it was time to sac out. I was so beat from the drive, mapping myself out, set up and just being out and exploring, I couldn't even watch 10mins of my iPad before sacking out.
    Of course my not so gaurd dog 80lb Sheppard brings confidence lol.

    Locke is fun. as an American Born Chinese dude, I like the history. oddest steakhouse in Locke, but I pretty much always eat there.

    Wife and I are planning a drive to Bodie. we like the area around Bridgeport, and may to a short hike to a lake to fish for trout.

    One of my dad's old buddies had his fishing boat docked at the marina in Locke for years, ate at Al's quite a few times. Love that place!
